Tracy Bultje was born, raised and resides in the small town of Chatham, Ontario. She is surrounded by rural landscape, waterways, marshland and rugged tree lines. The rhythmic forms and chaotic ferocity of nature has been a source of inspiration for Tracy. Yet, rather than recreating a landscape she subverts what is familiar with a direct approach. She captures the impression of nature’s wild through the use and development of patterns from botanical and geological forms. Her work is bold, vibrant, personal and sincere.
Tracy has exhibited across Canada and her work is part of private, public and corporate collections.
