SUNDAY JULY 16 - 3:30 - 5PM - FUNDRAISER for Save Abandoned Babies
- Come enjoy an afternoon on River Street featuring live music from Tyler Krienitz, a face-painter, kids games and more! This family-friendly event is hosted by Sidecar Supper Club and will benefit the Save Abandoned Babies Foundation. Also known as the Safe Haven Law. This law allows a Birth Mom to leave an unharmed newborn baby, up to 30 days old, at a staffed police or fire station, hospital or emergency care facility with no questions asked. We are hoping to raise a great deal of awareness about this, in addition to raising some money so we can probably advocate for this law in the future.
